After a house fire, Colleen Marie Design was hired to create construction drawings and material selections for this high ranch home. Featured here is their Olive and Oak Kitchen. With the home brought down to the studs, we were presented with the opportunity to completely reimagine the layout to align perfectly with the clients' lifestyle. Highlighting their passion for vibrant colours, we brought in bold green millwork which was softened with natural oak open shelving. The space incorporates a subtle textured backsplash tile that brings depth and playful character. Quartz countertops with soft veining add a touch of understated luxury, while thoughtful features like custom cabinetry with spice drawers transform the kitchen into a functional haven for cooking and entertaining. Open shelves provide an opportunity for the homeowner to display their seasonal decor or dishware, and the space is complete with a dedicated spot for their record player. We love how functional and playful this kitchen turned out!
